Meet Devin and Marissa Lyshon, your camper rental hosts, and life-long Mainers who have recently relocated to Northwest Indiana with their two young children, chocolate lab, and cat. With Vacationland in our own backyard, our passion for camping was born in a time when we were seeking an escape from the hustle-and-bustle of every day life as working parents.
We quickly found that camp gave us a place to put aside all of the distractions and do what’s most important: enjoy time together. And while we have plenty new to explore, we also love to help others find rest and relaxation “IN the Wild”.

We partner with the third-party rental sites Outdoorsy and RV Share to offer our renters peace of mind when renting with us as both websites provide both us (the hosts) and you (the renters) insurance policies and exceptional customer service. With years of personal camping experience, it’s our promise to keep our campers meticulously maintained and be quick to respond to renters when any “bumps” come up along the way. We offer flexible delivery and pickup services; if you’re ready to tow-your-own we are happy to help you load up or offer you a distribution hitch or offer delivery straight to your campsite. All of our rentals include basic dishes, cookware, pots/ pans, silverware, coffee pot, linens, hand soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. We offer several other add-ons for your convenience and pets are always welcome in our rigs for a small cleaning fee. This units boasts a spacious main living area with one slide-out and includes a full kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, and gas range/ oven), plenty of kitchen storage, a large TV, stereo systems, a fold-down leather couch, and a dinette that also converts into a bed. There is plenty of room for sleeping in the queen-sized master bedroom with two closets and overhead storage and sliding doors for privacy. The camper does include a full bunk room with 4 bunks, storage and a full bathroom with shower. Outside you will find an awning and full outdoor kitchen for ultimate outdoor entertaining. We have happily hosted many families and large groups in this camper with excellent reviews – there is truly nothing this camper lacks, including space!
